Neogen Europe Ltd, the European subsidiary of Neogen Corporation, is a high technology business dedicated to the development and marketing of novel diagnostic kits. These kits focus on topical concerns about the quality and safety of food and agricultural products, from the quality of seed that goes into the ground, right through the chain to the safety of fully processed food products.
Following a management buyout from the Scottish Agricultural College in 1998, the company was originally established as ADGEN Ltd. In 2003 the business was acquired by a long-standing and trusted business partner, Neogen Corporation of Lansing USA.
Since 2003, Neogen Europe Ltd has grown very rapidly as we have focused on the demands of the European market and have established sales forces in France, Germany, UK, Netherlands, Ireland and Switzerland, as well as built-up our distributor presence throughout Europe, Middle East and Africa. In 2007 we were awarded the Queens Award for Enterprise for international trade and development, one of the highest awards bestowed on a UK company.
Neogen Europe Ltd is an R & D and production centre in its own right with a development pipeline of products for food safety and plant disease of particular relevance to the challenges faced by the European agri-food industries.
Neogen Europe Ltd is situated on the campus of the Scottish Agricultural College in the rolling hills of Ayrshire, approx 40km south of Glasgow.
